mvl value duing @sim

Hi, what should be the output of the following code? sig_a is bind to wire "a" in verilog top file which has transitions "X -> Z -> 0 -> 1 -> Z -> 1". event a_c_e is change(smp.sig_a$)@sim; on a_c_e { print smp.sig_a.get_mvl(); }; The log file is showing "mvl_z" when the transition happens from "x" to "z". I am assuming that the specman should print "MVL_X" as the specman samples the previous value at change of signal not the updated value. Please correct me if i am wrong. Thanks

Hi Arjun, Are you sure that your event "a_c_e" is occurring while the signal is changing from X to Z... because what i am thinking that it may be that your event is occurring when it is changing to 0 and thats why you are getting the get_mvl() value as "Z".. which is the previous value.

    Hi Ravi,

I am sure because i have used "print sys.time" at every  transition.

The trnasition from x->z happening at time "0" and the value it is printing is "MVL_Z" at that time.

    Thanks.
