vplan in xls format

Hi,

I want to use vmanager tool for functional verification. For this I have to create a vplan.

Can anyone have a idea that vplan only supports document format (like a word doc) or we can use xls format for vplan and then change it to xml for vmanager tool ?

Regards,

Nirmit

    Hi Nirmit.

As Manish pointed out, Enterprise Planner (Linux command is "eplanner") is the preferred way to capture plans, as the tool offers a lot of automation and cool features that just cannot be supported by Word, XLS etc. For example, eplanner can connect the vPlan entries to your original spec files and your coverage, and audit any changes.

If you do want to work with XLS, we have ways to handle that. Please contact your local Cadence AE for more info (or ping me your contact details and I'll help put you in contact with your AE).

    Regards,
    Steve.
