When is the next version of nc expected?

Hi, I'm using ncvlog 6.2 and would like to know if a new version is expected soon. Also, if someone can please point me to a document that specifies which SV features are unsupported and in which future version they are supposed to be supported, I would be extremely thankful. Thanks a lot, Avidan

I would expect the next major release of ncvlog to appear some time in the spring, if we keep to our current major release schedule. If you are asking about an update version with bug-fixes, they usually appear every couple of weeks or so.

We can't make any predictions of when a particular feature will appear in the future since there can be all sorts of liabilities if a problem causes a milestone to be missed. What our R&D has asked us to request when we see a question like this is "What specific capabilities are you interested in?"

If you would post your answer here, I'll pass it on to Cadence R&D. I think it is obvious that they'd prefer to work on features that real-life customers are asking for, rather than trying to anticipate their needs in a vacuum.
