Problems with IUS08.20.001 and Suse 11.2 64 bits

 Hi,

I am new to ncsim, ncverilog an simvision. I have just installed the IUS08.20.001 packet on my PC with linux - Suse 11.2 64 bits. No errors or problems reported during the SW installation.

I tried to run a simulation scrip that calls ncverilog, but  the script throws a - command does not exist.

Then, I try to find the tool with the ./cd_tools script and the answer was - unable to find cadence software.

The same happens with ncsim, but simvision works.

I do not know what is wrong.

I will appreciate any help. Thank you!

    Hi Yana,

For the IUS8.2 release SUSE11 is not a supported platform.
You need to use a SUSE9 or SUSE10 machine.

In general to check if a machine is supported for that release,
you can use the script checkSysConf.

This script will tell you if the machine will work with the current release.

    Regards,
    -Kapil
