hi Is there a easier way to report gate count excluding RAMS?

    Hi ssripada,

    it is technically possible, but you should use TCL regular expressions. Redirect the report to a TCL variable and perform regular expressions:

    redirect -variable gate_wo_rams "report gates"

    then

    regsub {yourram\s+\S+\s+\S+} "" $gate_wo_rams gate_wo_rams

    or similar...
