Hello,i ma new to conformal flow.I want to know one thing.when we do RTL-RTL LEC, which one will be golden RTL and which one will be revised? Thanks in advance.

    The old RTL would be the golden.

    If you're new to Conformal a good place to start is to go through our online jump-start. Email conformal_workshops@cadence.com to get the details on how to sign up.

    BTW, for basic RTL-RTL the usual settings are fine if the old RTL is the golden. For more a more conservative run though use 'set x conversion E -both'. This will flag cases where don't-care spaces are not the same in both design. Otherwise don't-cares that were changed in the new RTL will not produce non-equis (which is OK for most people). See my post on 12/13/2007 for more details. The thread title was 'E Gates'.
