xmsim: *F,RNAERR: The simulator terminated with an analog initialization error.

I have a AMS simulation that simulates fine with APS++, when I select to run the same simulation with spectreX I get:

xmsim: *F,RNAERR: The simulator terminated with an analog initialization error.

The simulators does not give more hints to what have happened.

How can i debug what is the issue ?

Most likely you'll need to go to customer support for this - but the first thing I'd ask is are you using the latest XCELIUM (2009) and SPECTRE (20.1) - ideally a recent hotfix of each?

You didn't mention which versions are being used.

Hi Andrew the versions I'm using are :Spectre 20.10.126 , xcelium 20.09.008 , Cadence 06.18.160

I lunch the simulation via assembler and have set the simulator to be ams, it has part verilogams part schematic and systemverylog.

simulating with aps++ using flex to use the latest spectre it runs just fine, when I enable spectrex , just can't make it to run I get the error i've posted and some complain about

spectre terminated prematurely due to fatal error.
xmsim: *F,RNAERR: The simulator terminated with an analog initialization error.

Should I have no issues with this version?

Pedro - I think it will need more detailed investigation. This should work, so there must be something about the specific situation that we'll need to look into.

I'll get one of the local team to contact you (I'm a bit busy today).
