I need to simulate vhdl code with other analog circuit in Virtuoso.
For this I tried to change the simulator from spectre to ams.
But I got htis error:
ERROR (ASSEMBLER-1612): Simulator not in path for the following tests

You need to have an XCELIUM release installed, and then ensure that <XCELIUMINSTDIR>/tools/bin is in your UNIX path. That's it.

Note there are some version interdependencies, as I referenced in another post this morning: Cannot start Virtuoso if using Xcelium 21.03 or 21.09

    Thanks Andrew, I will check.
btw, am I in the correct track by using ams instead of spectre to simulate vhdl code + analog circuits?

You will also need spectre in the path (with current XCELIUM versions), but you cannot simulate VHDL with Spectre alone. So yes, you need AMS Designer to do this.

Thanks again, Andrew. I did add the link to the path and it is there now.
But I still get some error when I try to simulate it.
I created a new post about it.
