Failed to import verilog files

I want to import the verilog files into cadence, it doesnot work ,
ERROR: Failed to run the xmvolog analyzer because the analyzer binary could not be located. Either the analyzer binary does not exist in the shell search path or you do not have the required permission on the file. set the correct shell search path and update the file permissions before running the command again

However, I have already installed the XCELIUN2109 successfully, I don't know why it failed. Hope someone can give some advice on how to solve this problem.

Really appreciate that!

I'm assuming you are trying to import the Verilog files into Virtuoso? There is no tool called "cadence" (Cadence is the name of the company, not the name of any tool). You didn't mention the tool or version of that tool that you are importing into.

However, the most likely problem is that you haven't set up your UNIX path. You might have installed XCELIUN2109 (sic) but have you added <XCELIUM2109instDir>/tools/bin to your UNIX $PATH? At the UNIX terminal, what do you get if you type "xmvlog -version" ?

Can you also show what you get with "virtuoso -W" ?

I am sorry, I am trying to import the verilog files into virtuoso.

    xmvlog -version : xmvlog 21.09-s012
    virtuoso -W: IC6.1.8-64b.500.28

And I have already add  <XCELIUM2109instDir>/tools/bin to your UNIX $PATH.

I am not sure whether the version of XCELIUM lead to this problem.

    Thanks for your reply
