Error while running AMS simulations

Hi!
I am trying to do the AMS simulations using an inverter in Verilog and schematic form. After the creation of the config view for the cell, I'm trying to load the connect rules from ADE L-> Setup -> Connect Rules/IR Setup but an error message appears.
I have followed the steps provided in this link:- https://community.cadence.com/cadence_technology_forums/f/mixed-signal-design/41644/error-with-ams-simulator-connect-rules-are-not-found-in-your-ams-installation
Thank you

    Kripa,

Which IC-subversion are you using? You're using an 8-year old simulator version (why?) so my assumption is that other tools in your flow might be old too. I've not seen reports of this error recently - and usually it's just a matter of ensuring that the connectLib is referenced via your cds.lib. Does it show up in the library manager?

    Thanks for the response!

    We are using sub-version IC6.1.8-64b.500.12

The below is the cds.lib file and library manager window.

    Thank you,

    Kripa

It's a bit odd using INCISIVE152 when you're using a relatively recent IC version (from the last 3 years at least; INCISIVE152 is probably 8 years old). You should be using a recent XCELIUM installation instead of INCISIVE152.

Anyway, it appears that the SOFTINCLUDE /cad/INCISIVE152/tools/Inca/files/cds.lib is working, based on the libraries that appear. Then you are doing an UNDEFINE of connectLib and DEFINE it again using $AMSHOME which appears to be using a mis-spelt path (it uses INCISIV152 rather than INCISIVE152 - a missing "E"). Perhaps you should just comment out the UNDEFINE/DEFINE and that probably will fix it - or ensure that $AMSHOME is pointing to a valid path.

    Regards,

    Andrew
