[dynamic node capacitance check][couldn't find the check results]

dear tutors & peer,

I'm performing a dynamic check on the node capacitance,

though I couldn't find any output info there. there is no

"xxx.dynamic.xml" under simulation directory as well.

may I know how to export the results into either log file or results tabs?

PS. the assert works well instead.

I just tried this and it worked fine for me. Can you share (as there's not a great deal of information above - certainly nothing on the setup or versions used):

    1. What you have on the Checks/Asserts assistant (i.e. how you have set up the check)
    2. What you get - on the results tab (Detail view), use Right Mouse->View Netlisted Checks/Asserts - i.e. what statements were written into the netlist
    3. What the stop time for the transient simulation was
    4. Which Spectre sub-version was used (this will appear near the top of the Spectre simulation log)
    5. Which IC sub-version are you using (Help->About will tell you this)
    6. Do you get anything from Right Mouse->View Dynamic/Static Violation Report (I guess not, since the Checks/Asserts view is missing).
    7. Is there anything in the drop down box next to "Cumulative" in the picture above?

    hi Andrew,

sorry for my late feedback as our env. is in the process of migration these days.

[1] I've figured out the cause of this problem:
it is due to the additional "subckt/inst" parameter I add in the "dyn_nodecap" check,
which as a result will not stop the simulation but just gives nothing.

anyway I really appreciate your step-by-step instructions above on how to debug this issue.

[2] now I'm able to see the results under "checks/asserts" tab. but is there any other way to export the results into, say log or excel files?
         I couldn't still find "xxx.dynamic.xxx"......

[3] on the other hand, it seems like not all the static/dynamic checks are supported in a specific release of spectre, just like what the picture             shows below. is there a way for us to check what kind of dynamic checks are available in our env., like "spectre -h xxxx"?

PS. I will add the setup/version info next time I post questions. sorry about this I'm still on the way of getting familiar with the way how we work         here.
