Can we create 3D models in the OrCAD Library Builder

Dear Community,

I am using the OrCAD Library Builder and I am able to create the schematic symbols and PCB Footprints from the OrCAD Library Builder but I also want to create the Step file / 3D model in the OrCAD Library Builder.

Can we create the 3D model using the OrCAD Library Builder?

If Yes, can anyone help me with this, can anyone send me the steps / video or document to create the step file or 3D models for the footprint in the OrCAD Library Creator.

Regards

Rohit Rohan

I think this is the EMA product.

A significant number of part types in OLB will build a step model along with a dimensioned drawing PDF.

Have you tried clicking the tab that’s says “side view”?  It’s a vertical tab.  Set an override for component height first.

that is where they buried the step export.
