MAX File import in OrCAD PCB 24.1

Hello everybody,

is there any way to import old Layout MAX Files into the OrCAD PCB Designer 24.1?
In "File-->Import--> CAD Transllators" this option no longer there.

    Hi JuriV,

    The File>Import>CAD Translators>Orcad In option is no longer available , since we are not supporting MAX files anymore.

    IMO removing/dropping old features such as MAX import is a bad decision. The same thing goes for older releases of DBDoctor Keeping an old outdated feature could have been done by simply stating that "This feature is version XX.x and is not supported. It is available only at the users own risk. Cadence assumes no warranties whatsoever regarding its functionality."

    Importing/converting old formats or formats from competitors is a competitive advantage. With disclaimers as above, without any cost.
