Crosshatch shape problem

Hi all,

I am using Orcad PCB editor 16.0   In my board I need to put  hatch plane on top layer connected to GND. I am able to draw hatch shape with proper net name. But, after  I observed that it's overlapping on all the pads. Its not taking pad clearence even i set the constraint manager and global shape parameter. I am getting lot of errors since all the pads are shorted with shape.

and one more thing is that its not getting thermal relief  for related pads.

what could be the wrong in this case?

thanks

prasanna

Update your shapes under Setup. That should do you.

    thank u for reply..

As you said I  set up the  parameter under Setup> Design parameter> Shapes.  Under shape tab we will get three option for diff. type of shape. I updated there, but no changes in design.

     else,

we can change under Shape>Global dynamic params> shape fill > then disable the dynamic fill and set value for cross hatch. I did the same and after i draw the cross hatch shape. But it won't take clearence to pad , line. via. etc.

Can u plz put some points to set up ?

    thanks

Try Display - Status, then "update to smooth" button.

    thanks for all replies,

its bit late, after long time I am back  to this topic once again. I tried all the techniques mentioned above , but i could not .... it doesnt taking pad , via and track clearence.

can anybody plz put step by step points. ?

i think nothing more than two option. one under setup> Design parameter>Shapes

and second is under Shapes>Global dynamic parameter

I changed filling type under these option to get hatch pattern. I got hatch pattern but i am facing the problem as i mentioned above.

    comments are welcome.

    thanks n regards,
