Virtuoso Video Diary: Knowledge Booster Training Bytes – Part 4

In our last Knowledge Booster Blog, we introduced you to some tips and tricks for the optimal use of the Virtuoso ADE Product Suite. We are now happy to present you with some further news from our Virtuoso training world. This blog demonstrates how easy it is to move seamlessly between several simulation tasks.

Let's talk about how you can use the Spectre Simulation Platform and its corresponding options to analyze results from AC, transfer function (XF), Noise, Stability (STB), Loopfinder (LF), Pole-Zero (PZ), S-Parameter (SP), DC Match, AC Match, Fourier, Sensitivity and Sweep analyses.

You can use both the command-line and Virtuoso ADE Explorer environments to set up and run simulations on circuit examples. All simulation results are analyzed and plotted in Virtuoso Visualization and Analysis XL.

You can check some of our helpful videos on this topic on our Training Bytes video channel.

For lab instructions and a downloadable design, enroll for the online training courses of your interest on Spectre Simulator Fundamentals S3: Small-Signal Analyses.

If you would like to start with this topic from scratch, we recommend the complete training series. The training series consists of the courses starting with the understanding of the fundamentals for performing all the basic simulations using Virtuoso ADE Explorer and the Spectre command-line options.

Note: Some of the training links are accessible only to the Cadence customers who have a valid login ID for the Cadence Learning & Support Portal. You can also upload an online version of the above trainings with the valid login ID.
