Virtuoso Video Diary: Knowledge Booster Training Bytes - Part 5

In the year 2020, we posted four Knowledge Booster Training Bytes blogs covering various Virtuoso areas. We started with a blog that gives a short tour to the Cadence Education Services site followed by a blog on the training programs available for various Virtuoso products. This blog also provides some guidance on how to become Cadence certified in a certain technology or skill.

The third blog focuses on different tips and tricks on the optimal use of the Virtuoso ADE Product Suite, which comprises Virtuoso ADE Explorer, Virtuoso ADE Assembler, and Virtuoso ADE Verifier.

In our last blog of 2020, we revealed some suggestions on how you can combine tools and platforms as efficiently as possible with all available features. We also showed how to efficiently use the Virtuoso ADE Product Suite and get the best results using the Spectre Simulation Platform and its corresponding options.

We hope that you found these blogs useful!

To continue with the momentum in the year 2021, it is our pleasure to introduce some advanced trainings and videos related to the Spectre Simulation Platform .

Do you want to learn how gmin and associated parameters can be modified to achieve DC convergence in Spectre Simulation Platform, and how you can use the automatic method as well as the manual method? You can check out some useful information and explanation in the Using the Homotopy Parameter for Spectre DC Convergence training byte video.

For lab instructions and a downloadable design, enroll for the online training course Virtuoso Spectre Pro: S1 DC Algorithm vSpectre 19.1 (Online).

You can become Cadence Certified if you complete the available certification courses on Spectre.

Want to learn more?

To learn more on this topic, we would recommend that you register for the following planned courses:

  • Virtuoso Spectre Pro S2: AC, XF, STB, and Noise Analyses
  • Virtuoso Spectre Pro S3: Transient Algorithm
  • Virtuoso Spectre Pro S4: Measuring Accurate Fourier Transforms
  • Virtuoso Spectre Pro S5: Transient Noise

All classes can be delivered as Instructor-led Training and are important for the current situation and also as Blended Training (available only in the EMEA region).

Note: Some of the training links are accessible only to the Cadence customers who have a valid login ID for the Cadence Learning & Support Portal.
